Federally Funded Plans
Federally Funded Plans (also known as the Health Insurance Marketplace) are part of the comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010 (sometimes known as ACA (Affordable Care Act), PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act), or “Obamacare”).
The Federally Funded Plans are for those who need assistance in paying for their individual or family health care insurance. Subsidy or premium tax credit amounts are based on a combination of age, family size, and household income.
You may qualify for a Federally Funded Plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
